Online shopping has completely changed how women customers shop during the holidays. According to a recent study, 15% of women plan to start holiday shopping before September. Not only that, about half of internet users plan to start their holiday shopping by the end of October, according to a poll by Session M. You absolutely cannot delay your holiday marketing campaign until big milestones like Black Friday. If you do, you could be missing out on a great many shopping days this holiday season.

2. Offer the Right Deals, at the Right Time

Holiday marketing for small business often includes deep discounts for eager customers, and we won’t discourage you from that. After all, 43% of women surveyed said they look for sales and special deals. The key to your holiday marketing success is offering sales and deals at the right time. You wouldn’t want to show your hand too early in the season, and miss out on driving massive sales during milestones like Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
